About the Pirates

About Me (Pirate Mom)

There are several things you may learn about me along the way, but one thing and utmost important thing to know - is that I love my son and husband. I'm lucky to have these two crazy kids in my life and always telling strangers about them...so this blog should be nothing new. 99% of what I post is on my Facebook feed, but I understand that not all of the people in my life are on Facebook.

I occasionally can also be a bit crafty...so you may see some of that on here too! Also use this blog so I can link weird ideas I have had to Pinterest so much easier. LOL. Me = Lazy.

Meet my Ninja Husband - Jeff
What can I say ladies...I got lucky. This gentleman was silly enough to marry me...what a sucker! There are many many times when I forget how lucky I am to have him, but by the next day it is is easy to remember. Boyscout-like personality, but with a few fantastic adult only jokes up his sleeve, he is the man for me!
He is the ying to my yang....that's not quite right...how about -He is my perfect other half!"the tall to my short"..."the laid-back to my organized"..."the easy-going to my critical"..."the ice-cream to my cake" ...or "the PC to my console" (gamer term).Casually funny and always playful, he is the perfect dad to teach little Thomas how to play tricks on mommy. Drive by tickles, love from above hugs, and early morning jumping on the bed....I can assure you Thomas didn't get those from me...

The Ninja
This incredibly handsome young man is Thomas Sakeeta. My little ninja.  Unintentionally funny, curiously clever, and surprisingly sweet boy, that is ultimately defined as being simply "awesome".

And sneaky...even from day one...pee'd right on the doctor....And a few weeks later, pee'd on me.
Born in May 2008.
Little webbed fingers and toes that were apparently genetic (Thanks to my husband Jeff). He was still gorgeous. I was expecting a little red and wrinkled ball...got this clear kid with his tongue sticking out. This picture he was 18 minutes old....and already making sheepish faces at the camera.Who knew he would turn camera shy a few months later....?
